Dr. Seti Byrd
As the founder of Skyview Dentistry, Dr. Byrd blends art and science to create an extraordinary dental experience full of happiness, exceptional care, and genuine compassion. She listens quietly, cares deeply, innovates generously, and is a clinical master.
Dr. Byrd earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. She went on to complete her advanced Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Dedicated to ensuring her patients receive the most modern techniques, tools, and technology, Dr. Byrd pursues ongoing education and training to remain on the leading edge of her field.
Beyond serving patients, she can be found painting or playing tennis. But most of all she loves traveling with her husband, Harry, spending time with her 3 kids, and enjoying their giant Pomeranian Jagger.
Dr. Jennifer D’Silva
Thankfully Dr. D’Silva and her husband Eric fell in love with the charm of Charlotte a few years ago and couldn’t resist relocating from Buffalo, New York to such a beautiful area. As a compassionate and gifted clinician, she has become an essential part of the Skyview family.
Dr. D’Silva earned her undergraduate degree from Canisius College and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She completed her residency at Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) in Buffalo, where she treated medically complex patients with a focus on head and neck oncology patients.
With a heart for underserved people, she has been involved in several dental mission trips to the Dominican Republic and remote areas of Appalachia.
She and her husband love the outdoors, cooking, and traveling together.
dR. Christina Gliwa
Dr. Gliwa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and participated in research focusing on Osteoradionecrosis of the Jaw at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and went on to complete a General Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
Commitment to excellent care in the ever-changing field of dentistry keeps Dr. Gliwa in pursuit of continuing her education to advance her skills and knowledge to better serve her patients. She is also about giving back to the community and has volunteered in many underserved areas over the years. Dr. Gliwa exemplifies compassion, empathy, and sincerity. She wants her patients to feel at ease and listens attentively in order to give a more individualized approach to dentistry.
Dr. Gliwa knew that the blizzards of Buffalo, NY were not for her and relocated to Charlotte where she fell in love with the city and the warmer climate. In her spare time, she loves to explore new places/restaurants, hike, play tennis and spend time with friends and family.
